Jessica is a third generation Maryland lawyer. She is that rare combination of a zealous advocate inside the courtroom and compassionate, objective, and holistic adviser outside the courtroom who speaks in plain English, without any airs. Jessica has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers based on peer recognition and professional achievement.
Prior to joining the Holland Law Firm, Jessica spent eight years at Russell and Hefner in Frederick, MD where she had a general civil practice with a special focus on family law, including mediation, divorce, custody, visitation and child support. Since 2016, she has regularly acted as court-appointed counsel for children caught in high-conflict custody litigation.
While a student at University of Maryland Law School, Jessica participated in the Child Welfare and Health Care Delivery Clinic, and competed on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, taking third place in the 2012 International Competition for Mediation Advocacy in Toronto.
At the Holland Law Firm Jess will continue her family law practice and will also use her diverse skills in litigation, mediation, and advocacy to help fight for consumers who have been wronged.
